DownsEd are holding a 3 day UK Conference in October at The Park Inn Hotel, London (Heathrow).

The first 2 days are aimed primarily at professionals (so let your schools know before they break up for the summer!) with a selection of accredited two-day tracks providing in-depth professional training and skills development for teachers, teaching assistants, educational/school psychologists, speech and language therapists/pathologists, other health and education professionals and families seeking detailed information.

Day 3 offers a selection of one-day tracks giving families a comprehensive overview of the issues relevant to their child and illustrating effective ways to support development at home and at school.

Tracks are offered to provide detailed information specific to early years (birth to 5 years of age), primary/elementary school years (5 to 11 years of age) and secondary/high school years (11 to 16 years of age).

Additionally, a special two-day track is available for speech and language therapists/pathologists, providing the latest information and advice on promoting the speech and language development of children with Down syndrome.
